Who is Chino?

As I was raised by an Austrian, I have long been raised with European ideals about eating to live rather than living to eat. My father taught me that certain foods fuel the body, and a certain balance of elements is best to maintain a healthy lifestyle. After years of working in the restaurant business and realizing how much of what America eats comes out of a can or deep fryer, I firmly believe a home cooked meal with all natural ingredients can beat a restaurant meal any day. Now that I'm happily married to my best friend, I enjoy working with my homegrown produce and spices to craft my husband and my family delicious meals. Cooking healthy can be fun too, eclectic new ingredients inspire interesting, tasty results. That said, I'm happy to lend any guidance needed!
